In response to recent outages in Gmail service, Go0gle has launched a new feature so users can check on the status of an application. The new feature called Apps Status Dashboard, can provide users with up-to-date information on Google Apps services, like Gmail and Google calendar. There also appears be an RSS link on the page, but at present it doesnt appear to be working. http://www.google.com/appsstatus
